Captain Mohamed Bazina

Captain Mohamed Bazina is a Master Mariner and senior maritime consultant with over 30 years of international shipping, chartering, and commercial experience. His career uniquely integrates sea command authority, energy shipping operations, shipbroking and contractual dispute expertise. He holds a Master of Science in Shipping Management from New York Maritime College, a Master Mariner License, and a Diploma in Advanced Chartering from the Association of Ship Brokers and Agents (USA). He has further completed advanced chartering certifications from Lloyd’s Maritime Academy and BIMCO. Captain Bazina brings over 10 years of seafaring experience on multiple vessel types and 17 years with Qatar Engergy, where he held senior shipping roles and served on the Maritime Law Committee of the State of Qatar, advising on commercial and maritime legal matters. In addition to his corporate leadership, he has extensive hands-on shipbroking experience, actively negotiating charterparties, advising on Sale & Purchase agreements, and managing contractual risk exposure. He previously served as Lecturer in Maritime Law and Chartering at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and acted as a maritime expert in chartering disputes before Egyptian courts. He has been the main speaker for executive Ship Chartering seminars and workshops delivered in Dubai, Doha, and Cairo. This Masterclass reflects his integrated perspective — combining operational command, and precise charterparty interpretation — delivering practical, commercially disciplined judgment designed for immediate real-world application.
